Joint seminars were held in Indonesia in September and October 2012, accompanying Japanese experts specialized in volcanic eruptions, disaster avoidances, radioactive wastes and decontamination managements and severe accidents. A joint seminar with BATAN and IAEA on Natural Disasters in Jakarta on September 27, 2012, a joint seminar with BATAN and Indonesia Education University on technology innovation in nuclear power generation in Bandung on September 29, and a joint seminar with BATAN and Bandung Institute of Technology on next generation reactors in Bandung on October 1, 2012, were conducted.
