Infrastructure Development Seminar organized by JICC was held on January 14 through January 18, 2013, in Japan by means of lectures by Japanese and invited foreign experts on natural hazards, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, etc. and Fukushima nuclear accident and technical tours of nuclear related facilities in Japan including Hamaoka NPP. In total 21 participants including VIPS from nine countries such as Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and Vietnam, acknowledged the necessities of the preparedness of nuclear facilities against natural hazards.
